My yoga journey began in the early 2000s in the United States, and by 2005 I had fallen deeply in love with the practice. Since then, yoga has been my sanctuary—offering healing in hard times and inspiration in good ones.

My career has taken many ( beautiful) turns: starting as a Film and Television Producer, moving into exclusive private members' clubs, and eventually finding my true calling in yoga. Along the way, I've lived and worked across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Australia, and Southeast Asia, adapting to new cultures, languages, and ways of life. Whether in corporate roles or running my own yoga business, what united it all was a love of genuine human connection.

My teaching is shaped by life itself. I've known loss—of loved ones and of familiar paths—and each time found my way back to grace, strength, and joy. Facing cancer taught me resilience and the value of every moment. Through it all, I found steady, loyal love, and went on to adopt two wonderful children who fill my life with gratitude every day.

These experiences flow into how and what I teach. My classes are rooted in Vinyasa—a dynamic, breath-led practice that links movement and stillness—infused with the devotion and heart-opening spirit of Bhakti yoga. I share not just the physical side of yoga, but the wisdom, resilience, and love that come from living through both struggle and joy.

Since 2009, I've been based in Dubai with my family—including our fluffy Australian Cobberdog, Goldie.

What's next? I don't know—but every step, every loss, every love has been part of the journey home—to myself, to my practice, and to the present moment. Right here, right now.

With Love & Devotion,
Danica
